AMIT Indian wrist revealed that he was frustrated during his career because he was constantly on and off the team. Misra announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Thursday 4th September. The 42 -year -old played for India in 2017 against England during the T20i in Bengalur.
Misra played 22 tests, 36 ODI and ten T20is, a total of 156 goals. After calling time on his career, Misra remembered how disappointed he was after he didn’t get regular chances.
“It was a very disappointment. Sometimes you are in the team, sometimes you are out. Sometimes you have a chance to play eleven, sometimes not. Of course it’s frustrating, and I have been frustrated many times, no doubt. Some players are the captain’s favorite.
He also remembered his first hat -trick in the Premier League (IPL) 2008 against Deccan Chargers and revealed how it allowed him to return to the Indian team. Misra registered 5/17 numbers in four breaks, including the large goals of Shahid Afridi and Herschelle Gibbs.
“I would say that the defining moment was the hat trick I took in IPL 2008, where I also took five goals in the match. From there I returned to the Indian team. I was constantly performing in my home cricket, with 35-45 goals every season I couldn’t get back to the national team.”
Misra also remembered his test debut against Australia in 2008, replacing Anil Kumble in playing XI and continued to choose five bags. He became only the sixth Indin, who reached the Feat On Test Debut.
“Anil Bhai told me in the morning that he was injured, he was injured. I played the match against Australia and took five goals, which was a huge moment for me. It was a big thing to fill the anil Kumble shoes. It was pressure and I was glad to win the match players,” he said.
In addition to his international heroism, Mishhra is also the eighth highest goals in IPL history with 174 scalp from 162 matches. It also holds a record for most hut-trains in the tournament, after reaching three times in 2008, 2011 and 2013.
