American singer Mary Millben takes aim at Abhijeet Dipke again; says PM Modi doesn’t need US support, predicts victory in 2029 | Today’s news

American singer Mary Millben on Wednesday evening once again targeted Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke while predicting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will win the 2029 general elections.

The American singer, known for her vocal support of the Modi administration, argued that Modi does not need American support and claimed that he enjoys the unwavering support of 1.5 billion Indians.

In her latest X post, Millben directly addressed Dipke’s tweet, saying: “Oh dear @abhijeet_dipke, the truth sets everyone free. Even you. And here’s the truth: these US donors will fold you like hotcakes if you fail. And you won’t because injustice never wins.”

She advised the CJP leader to change his political approach and urged Dipke to capitalize on his “American education, talent and use it for good”.

Millben suggested he should instead “sit down with PM @narendramodi and be a positive voice for India’s progress,” adding that “the truth of your courage to do what is right lies in your next steps.”

Millben has resisted criticism of foreign interference in Indian politics and fiercely defended Prime Minister Modi’s domestic mandate. “And the prime minister does not need American support,” she wrote. “He has 1.5 billion beautiful Indian citizens who support him and they have 25 years, 12 years as Prime Minister, three consecutive terms. And they will again in 2029. That’s right.”

Dipke vs Millben

This latest post is part of an ongoing online controversy that erupted when Millben publicly accused Dipke and the CJP of being funded by US-based donors seeking to subvert India’s democratic processes.

In her earlier posts, she claimed it was a global model where foreign donors “find a US-educated person … radicalize them, send them back to the country and fund them to unleash chaos and destruction.”

The clash on social media began amid ongoing protests by the CJP in Delhi, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the electoral roll. The agitation has led to intense clashes with the Delhi Police and the recent designation of Jantar Mantar as a designated protest site.

Dipke responded strongly to Millben’s original claims earlier this week, questioning the singer’s active stance in Indian political discourse. “Why is Modi seeking the support of Americans to discredit his own countrymen? Who gave foreign nationals the right to interfere in India’s internal affairs?”

Dipke emphasized that Indians are capable of solving their own problems without outside intervention. He also publicly clarified that his American education was funded through a Boston University scholarship and an education loan, dismissing allegations of foreign funding as unfounded.
