Dr. Ghulam Nabi FAI, 76, is an activist based in Washington, who is the chairman of the world forum for peace and justice, was declared on Thursday (May 1, 2025) by the “renowned perpetrator” by the Central Kashmir court in Budgam if under the Act on Anti -Established (UAPA) (UAPA) (UAPA).
Special judge of the court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Budgam, at the Police of J&K, said Mr. Fai as the declared perpetrator in the first information report (companies) submitted in 2020 at the Budgam police station according to Sections 10, 13 and 39 UAPA. Mr. FAI received 30 days from the date of declaration for surrender before the J&K police. According to J&K police, Mr. FAI, Wadwan, Budgam, “currently hiding in the US”
According to police sources, Mr. FAI “permanently avoided arrests and prevented the legal process, prevented liability under the law”.
With regard to his continuing non -cooperation and intentional attempts to hide to avoid arrest, Budgam’s police presented the plaintiff in court. The Court of Justice, which acted on this request, said Mr. Fai’s renowned perpetrator 30 April, said police sources.
Mr. Fai was a close associate of separatist leaders in Kashmir. He considered himself an associated company forbidden by Jamaat-E-Islam (JEI), Mr. Fai graduated from the Aligar Muslim University before moving to the US in 1977 for higher studies. Currently, Mr. FAI is a US citizen who founded the US Council Kashmir, who lobbied in the US for a separatist leader in Kashmir. He is considered one of the few influential cashmeters who have remained active at Backchannels, especially with the highest leadership of the Republicans and Democrats in the US
