New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr has climbed to No.1 in the ICC Women’s T20I All-rounder rankings for the first time in her career. She reached the milestone with a career-best 508, dethroning West Indies captain Hayley Matthews, who had held the top spot since October 2023.
Kerr was outstanding in the recent series against Zimbabwe, playing both with bat and ball. She became only the fourth female cricketer after Chamari Athapaththa, Meg Lanning and Matthews score several T20I centuries as captain. Only Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam have achieved the same feat in men’s T20Is.

Kerr also recently became the first cricketer across men’s and women’s T20Is to post 11 consecutive scores of 30 or more. She has also taken 11 wickets at an average of 22.27 since taking over as full-time White Ferns captain from the legendary Sophie Devine.
Kerr has also climbed three places to 10th in the updated ICC Women’s T20I bowling rankings, while Pakistan spinner Sadia Iqbal continues to maintain a narrow lead at the top, with England’s Sophie Ecclestone just 17 points behind.
GEORGIA VOLL REWARDED
Australia batsman Georgia Voll also climbed to No.1 in the ICC Women’s T20I batting rankings, replacing teammate Beth Mooney at the top after jumping eight places. The right-hander recently smashed the third-fastest T20I century by an Australian woman, reaching the landmark in just 52 balls, and was named Man of the Match in the third T20I against West Indies in Kingston for 101 off 53 deliveries.
Voll also became the fourth youngest woman to score a century in both white-ball formats, doing so at the age of 22 years and 230 days. She finished as the leading run-scorer of the series with 148 runs from three matches at an average of 49.33 and a strike rate of 172.09.
Among the Indians, Smriti Mandhana slipped to No. 3 in the batting rankings, while Jemimah Rodrigues broke into the top 10 at No. 10. In the bowling rankings, Renuka Singh climbed to No.5 and Arundhati Reddy to No.9, while Deepti Sharma remained third among all-rounders.
