Ambulance Pilots Day celebrated in Vellore

Vellore Division of Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI Green Health Services) celebrated Ambulance Pilots (Drivers) Day at Government Pentland Hospital, Vellore on Thursday.

According to the press release, 68 ambulances are operated by 162 pilots and 157 technicians, which form the backbone of emergency medical assistance. The fleet also includes seven hearses, four mother and child care vehicles and two-wheelers to extend critical support beyond accident and trauma.

District Health Officer M. Vijaya Chandran, who was the chief guest, presented the best pilot of the year award to Naveen. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to other pilots and technicians for their services in the district. S.
