The Kodaga police confiscated Ambergris, also called Whale Vomiting, estimated to be approximately 10 crore ₹.
Police confiscated 10.39 kg Ambergris near the village of Betolis at the limits of the Virajpet Police Station. Ten people were arrested for alleged involvement in illegal trade.
The police said Ambergris was illegally transported from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. When he worked on Tip-off, a police team was established. The team captured vehicles carrying Ambergris and confiscated the smuggled item.
Two cars were also confiscated by the registration numbers of the Kerala vehicles and two monetary notes. Police Virajper registered the case.
