
Ambedkar Jayanti 2025: Main Minister Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami described on Monday the implementation of the United Civil Code (UCC) in the state Hill as a historical step towards building dreams of Dr. Br Ambedkara.
Dhami’s note on the day when Ambedkar Jayanti – 135. The anniversary of the birth of the architect of the Indian Constitution.
Dhami said that Ambedkar believed in the same and uniform laws for every citizen, no matter which caste, religion or community belongs.
“Ambedkar believed that social differences and divisions would continue to exist until there was a unified set of law. We also found that personal laws for various communities were discrimination on the resource,” he said he was meeting Ambedkar Jayanti, 2025.
“So Uttarakhand has become the first state in a country that implemented the United Civil Code (UCC). It is a historical step towards building Ambedka’s vision,” Dhami said.
Ambedkar did not consider UCC a legal requirement, but as a social and moral necessity, the main minister said.
Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is known as the “father of the Indian Constitution” and the first Minister of Law of Indeed India. Ambedkar Jayanti is observed on April 14 to make Mark Br Ambedka’s birthday.
Ambedkar was born on April 14, 1891 in the city and military cantonment Mhow – now officially known as Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Madhya Pradesh.
“UCC will be emancipation of Muslim daughters and father -in -law to expose to evil practices such as Halala, IDDat, children’s marriage, polygamy and triple Talaq,” Dhami said in addressing organized Dr. BR BR AMBEDKAR MAHA Manch to thank the main minister for performing UCC in the state.
With the implementation of UCC, a new era of women’s authorization began, Dhami said.
In January this year Uttarakhand became the first state in India, implemented by the United Civil Code (UCC) and fulfilled the key promise of the ruling BJP before the elections together 2022.
CM DHAMI officially launched UCC by revealing its announcement, by publishing the rules for its implementation and introducing a portal for compulsory online registration of marriage, divorces and live relations.
UCC applies to all Uttarakhand residents, with the exception of planned tribes and protected persons and community-right persons. The Unified Act on the Uttarakhand Civil Act regulates laws on marriage and divorce, sequences, living relations and related matters.
Ambedkar believed that social differences and divisions would continue to exist until there was a unified ensemble of law.
