Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced on Monday (April 20, 2026) that it will work with AWS Partner Network (APN) partner SHI India (formerly Locuz) to support the development of indigenous artificial intelligence models.
Running under the IndiaAI mission, the initiative is designed to streamline access to AI capabilities by Indian government departments, startups, enterprises, academic institutions and research and development organizations in the country.
