
President of the State Council Andhra Pradesh for Higher Education (APSCHE) K. Madhu Murty on Tuesday Vit-Amaravati inaugoval Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon 2025 (AQVH 2025). Hackathon is a national program organized to provide students with a platform to solve daily challenges and promote product innovation culture and problem solving.
The statement published by the Council stated that the event would focus on solving real-world problems in critical sectors, including defense, logistics, discovery of drugs, agriculture and finance using Quantum-First. The event is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology (DST), Indian Government and Key Industrial Partners such as IBM, TCS and Startups such as QKrishi.
Hackathon will provide students with a chance to work on challenges of various ministries, departments, industries, public sectors (PSU) and NGOs. The aim of this cooperation is to produce world -class solutions for leading organizations such as DST, IBM, TCS, Google and Microsoft, helping public and private sectors to receive top talents from all over the country.
Mr. Murty invited universities and universities, faculties and students to participate and contribute to effective solutions to problem statements provided by various organizations. He said that the idea was to use the creativity and professional knowledge of students, inspire hackathons at the institute level, create a pipeline for the “Innovation AP” and “Startup India”, Crowsource solutions to improve management and quality of life, and provide citizens with an opportunity to provide innovative solutions to major Indian problems, especially in the eming area.
The semifinal of the event is scheduled for August 23, while the last hackathon will take place on August 3.
The registration began on August 5 and 12. August is the last day to submit ideas of higher education teams on the AQVH 2025 portal. One team can present ideas for only two problems and team leaders’ team leader will receive login data after recording the team on the portal. The internal hackathon at the relevant universities will be held on August 17th. The total money for the winner will be 4 lakh.
Representatives of the academic community and industry were present at the opening. Secretary, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication (ITEC) Catamne Bhaskar, Special Secretary, ITEC, Sundar, IBM Quantum India, Venkat Subramaniam, who read the Message of Minister for Hrd and IT Loksh, CV Sridhar from TCS and Nick Bronn among those presence.
