
Amala Medical College and Research Center, Thrissur, has launched an initiative powered by artificial intelligence in cooperation with a technology company based in Bengalur, with the aim of transforming pharmacological security protocols and antibiotics in hospital.
This event meant unveiling the “Saferx”, the advanced AI system to support clinics in making safer and informed decisions in prescribing drugs.
Dr. VK Pratheesh, Academic Coordinator in Amale, said that SaFerx will serve as a tool for supporting real -time decision -making, ensuring the safety of drugs, appropriate use of antibiotics and compliance with clinical protocols.
The AI system is able to evaluate previous history, diagnosis and co -morbidity of the patient before providing prescription proposals. It also refers to potential drug interactions and the risks of resistance, thus significantly contributing to better clinical results and public health protection, he said.
