Alyssa Healy acknowledged that Australia would face a hard challenge at the upcoming women’s ODI World Championship in the company’s friendly conditions. As the most successful team in the history of the tournament, Australia focuses on its eighth title and launched a campaign on Wednesday, October 1 against New Zealand at the Cricket Girl in Indore.
In order to prepare for the conditions, Australia will have a lot of opportunities to acclimatize with a series of three ODI matches in India, followed by a warm -up match against England at Bcci Center of Excellence in Bengalur.
“They have a really difficult attack (India A) and we will have to play it all over the World Cup, many medium breaks will be interested,” Healy Cricket.com.au said.
After being released by the Women’s ash injury, Healy returned in Australia and with a limited match against India A.
Healy was excellent and ended up as an upper shooter in the T20 series and one -day against India and women. In the T20s he scored 124 runs on average 41.33. On the one -day days the veteran has accumulated 242 runs on average 121, including a Sunday in the third match blister 137 of just 85 balls.
“Healy will be really happy”
Australia coach Dan Marsh also believes that Healy’s performance on Sunday puts her in a strong position before the World Cup in India.
“Alyssa detonated well today. The whole pre -season looked good and it was just nice to see how he would get into the training and take it to India,” Marsh said.
