Alliance University meant International Day against drug abuse and illegal trading, which was observed annually on June 26, with an initiative of awareness organized in cooperation with the anekal police station.
Inspector Tippeswamy of Anecal Police Station, addressing hundreds of students and members of the faculty, shared legal experience in real life and threw light on social and legal consequences of drug abuse. His message emphasized the importance of responsible decision -making among youth.
After the meeting, a assembly was held on the university campus under the guidance of students. Students who carried labels and banners raised slogans against drug abuse and advocated healthy and conscious society.
