As the countdown at Thrissur Poramram begins, the Minister for Devaswom VN Vasavan announced that all preparations were completed by the government, district administration, Thrissur Corporation and Devaswoms to ensure smooth festival behavior.

The food security and legal metrology department together created units for performing off -road inspections. The reserved elephant care team, along with veterinary doctors, is ready to manage the health and safety of elephants participating in the festivities.
The Minister also stressed that no municipal, political or provocative symbols, slogans or flags should be used as part of the festival. The fire and rescue service staff, including female officers, will be deployed. The medical team led by DMO, with ambulances, is also fully prepared. Only ambulances marked with official DMO sticker will be allowed to enter the land of SURAM.
Crowd check
Minister K. Rajan added that all security measures will be enforced to display fireworks. Inspection of the crowd for fireworks will only be implemented after the main action of the Poramram ends at night. Due to the ongoing thermal wool, shaded structures and emergency medical settings, including an ambulance, will be available.
This year, browsing galleries were also organized to increase the experience for tourists. On May 6, visitors will be registered by 12:00 in the DTPC office with a valid ID (such as Passport), a special approach to viewing the ceremony of Kudamattam.
