Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy said that the Dagadarthi Airport, which is being built on an area of 1,332.8 acres through Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, is expected to be a game changer for SPSR Nellore and Prakasam districts.
According to District Collector Himanshu Shukla, private bidders are currently being invited to submit their Request for Proposals (RFP) for development, operation and maintenance under the long-term concession framework, the deadline of which is around the end of April 2026. The successful bidder for the project is expected to be announced by the first week of May, the collector added.
