At least four people were killed after the plane crashed on the Navajo nation in the Arizona of the United States on Wednesday 6 August. According to reports, the plane was aircraft medical transport that crashed in Arizona.
The CSI from Albuquerque in New Mexico appeared near Chinle Airport, about 200 miles (321 kilometers) northeast of Flagstaff.
Those on board were medical staff who were on their way to the hospital to pick up the patient. The tribe said that the cause of the accident is not known.
Beechcraft 300 crashed early in the afternoon at the airport landing, Federal Aviation administration in -mail said.
“They tried to land there and unfortunately something went wrong,” said the district police commander Emmett Yazzie.
Yazzie said the crew plans to pick up the patient from the Chinle Hospital. He refused to offer further details of the accident and said he was waiting for federal investigators.
The cause of the accident was not known, the tribe said.
They are investigating the National Transport and FAA safety council.
President Navajo Nation Buu Nygren said in a post on the social media that he was broken to learn about the accident.
“They were people who devoted their lives to save others, and their loss is felt deep across the nation Navajo,” he said.
In January, a medical airliner crashed in Philadelphia and killed eight people. The National Transport Safety Council, which investigates the accident, said the voice recorder is not working on this aircraft.
