The day after Fifty -five -year -old Aju Sharma died in the Air India accident in Gujarat Ahmedabad, her relatives on Friday (June 13, 2025) in Ramsaran Majra Village in the Haryan district of Kurukshetra, who tried to break the news of Anju’s death on her Father and his older mother.
After her marriage, Anja settled in Vadodar at the age of 90. She started a flight tied to London to meet her older daughter-Nimmi. She survived her two daughters. My husband died a few years ago.
“We are all in a shocked village. I do not know how to inform my brother (Anju’s father) about the news of her passage. I can’t gather courage. How they will carry the weight of this tragedy,” said Balkishan Sharma, Anju’s uncle.
“It’s hard for us to believe, she visited her parents last month, and she stayed here for fourteen days, and now she’s not. Her father Jagdish Sharma, retired employees, she’s not been holding for some time, and Santosh Sharma’s mother is also aging. We’re trying.
Mr. Balkishan said that Anju’s late husband was an engineer who worked in the oil industry.
Several other members of the extended family of Anja in her native village remembered her as a compassionate and caring person who supported her family.
“The loss broke our family,” they added.
