Days after the tragic aviation India AI-717 aircraft tension voltage surrounding a 52-year-old “missing” woman and her granddaughter ended after the DNA test confirmed that she was one of the deceased, PTI quoted her family.
According to the report, Sarlaben Thakor was employed as a cook in a mess in the Medical Hostel complex in Ahmedabad in the last 15 years. Sarlaben and two -year -old granddaughter Aadhya were handed over to their family members in Ahmedabad civil hospital after the DNA test confirmed their death in the tragedy of June 12.
“After the DNA test, my mother’s sarlaben and daughter Aadhya was handed over on Thursday. With a heavy heart, we got together on the same day,” said Ravi Thakor, the son of a woman, as he said.
Ravi Thakor and his family, including her late mother and wife Lalita, have been cooking food for MBBS students on a hostel at BJ Medical College, located in Meghaninagar, where the tragedy intervened in the afternoon more than a week.
Just before the AI-717 Ravi and Lalita, Thakor left the clutter for a civilian hospital to supply food tiffins for older resident doctors, while Aadhya and Sarlaben remain in mess where MBBS students gathered to eat.
“We left the mess around 1:00 pm to add tiffins in the hospital. At about 13:40, the plane suddenly broke into the adjacent hostel building and the whole area was absorbed on fire. When we arrived, my mother and daughter were missing while all other women who work in a mess went out.
After the AI-717 crash, Ravi Thakor and his wife furiously sought Sarlaben and Aadhya in every possible place, including all the guardians of the Civil Hospital and even the posthumous rooms, but could not find them.
Ravi’s wife Lalita said they walked up every day along their son and daughters and left them in custody to Sarladevi while they went to supply tiffins in a civil hospital. “My son was also in the building when the aircraft crashed. Fortunately, he covered inside the laundry in the hostel and then came out safely. After we did not find our daughter and mother -in -law, we registered a complaint of missing people and gave our DNA samples to respond,” she said.
The doctors combined DNA samples with the deadly remains of Sarlaben and Aadhya a week after the accident, and on Thursday they gave them a mourning relatives after their identity.
