After the Air India’s accident, viewers reportedly blocked the rescue to take videos with their mobile phones. June 12 was Air India Flight 171, with 244 people on board, involved in a tragic accident in Ahmedabad. The flight was 232 passengers and 12 crew members. Some messages say the number is 242.
One of the social media users who shared a video from the alleged block wrote: “We, India, we are with a zero civic sense. The crowd blocks rescue operation only after the Air India in Ahmedabad.”
“People become so insensitive that they just want to make a video about everything! No matter what happens,” one user said.
“Everyone wants a video on the phone. This is a priority,” he said.
Another user noted: “In India, we all have to give the basic civic meaning to everyone.” Another wrote, “Everyone wants to get something for their coils.”
But not everyone agreed.
One user responded: “stop spewing poison on every occasion. No one can see blocking.
“You seem to have no sense. No one block the road. This kind of reaction is very normal in such places,” another responded.
“This is gujarat. All people want to provide their contributions to help victims. It is not correct to say zero civic sense,” he came from another.
