He added: “For almost two hours, we orbited the airport and waited for a landing permit until again during our first attempt re-booting heart-more aircraft was allegedly on the same track. In that broken second, the captain’s rapid decision saved every life on board.

“We have been rescued by skills and happiness. The safety of passengers cannot depend on happiness. I invite @Dgcaindia and @Moca_goi to explore this incident, correct responsibility and ensure that they never failed,” Congress wrote.
In its statement, Air India explained that “Flight AI2455 of August 10 is working from Thiruvananthapurama to Delhlí to Chennai as a preventive measure after the pilot found a suspicious technical problem and regarding the weather conditions on the way to Delhi.”
“It was decided to divert to Chennai instead of Bengalur, because the weather in Chennai was clear. Since the aircraft was overweight for immediate landing, the pilot had to hold over Chennai to reduce weight, and no emergency emergency.
Air India also said: “We would like to repeat that the decision to divert to Chennai was taken in the best interest of the safety of our passengers and crew. Our crew is well trained to handle such situations, followed by protocols throughout the years.
“No other aircraft on the track”
The Indian airport office (AAI) also explained that there was no other aircraft at that time. Officials said that the previous outgoing aircraft announced air traffic control that they suspected some debris on the track. “But the inspection was subsequently carried out and it was confirmed that there were no debris. Since the earlier aircraft suspected the debris, ATC asked Air India to perform,” Aai said.
In its statement, AAI also stated: “With reference to the incident, we would like to state that the previous outgoing aircraft reported security fears on the ATC runway. Based on and in accordance with the SOP, no such concern was performed.
Mr. Radhakrishhnan said that the flight went to Thiruvananthapuram around 20:20, the pilot informed them about a diversion about an hour later. “We landed in Chennai around 22:45,” he said. He said Air India had arranged another passenger flight.
In recent weeks, there have been cases of some Air India aircraft facing technical snags.
