The Boeing management was back in crisis mode after a deadly Air India 787-8 Dreamliner crash for minutes after takeoff earlier on the day.
The new CEO of Planemaker Kelly Ortberg was set up to go to the Paris Aviation Show, the biggest events this year, after several key successes in recent weeks, trying to rebuild public confidence in Boeing after a number of security and manufacturing crises.

But his plan to participate in the next week with the head of commercial Boeing Stephanie Pope aircraft was discarded, Ortberg said because the company focuses on the investigation of the first nozzle crash 787, its most advanced model.
“When our industry is preparing for the opening of the Paris Aviation Show, Stephanie (Pope) and I both canceled the plans for participation so that we could be with our team and focus on our customer and investigation,” Ortberg wrote on Thursday evening in the employees who were seen by Reuters.
The Air India, which joined in London, crashed in the Indian city of Ahmedabad and killed almost all 242 people on board, in the worst air disaster in the world in ten years.

Air security safety experts said there was no reason to think that the problem of production or design was the cause, but the reason for the air disaster is not clear.
“Safety is the basis of our industry and is the core of everything we do,” Ortberg told employees. “Our technical experts are ready to help investigators to understand the circumstances, and the Boeing team is ready to travel to India.”
The biggest challenge for Boeing could be laymen to understand that while the nozzle that crashed is unlikely to blame Boeing, John Nance, an aviation safety expert and a former commercial pilot. Of course, investigators of accidents will consider every possibility, he added.
