Singapore Airlines CEO Vinod Kannan and Air India Chief Commercial Officer Nipun Aggarwal are the two frontrunners to become Air India’s new CEO, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter said.
The development suggests the search for a new chief executive to lead the airline is nearing its end, after New Zealander Campbell Wilson said last month resigned as the airline faced ongoing losses and regulatory scrutiny.
