Air India, Indigo, Spicejet and Akasa Airlines on Tuesday issued a passenger council after Iran launched missile attacks on the US military base in Doha and Iraq.
“With regard to the evolving situation in the Middle East, some of our flights may experience delay or diversion. These adjustments are made to ensure that the operations remain in a safe and satisfactory airspace,” Indigo said in post X.

The airline also added: “We recommend checking the status of your flight regularly. If your flight is influenced, we can easily explore alternative options through our website. We continue coordination with the relevant authorities. We appreciate your patience and understanding.”
Air India also issued travel consultancy and said it had stopped all operations in the Middle East as well as on the east coast of North America and Europe.
He added that all flights linked to India from North America will divert back to their appropriate origin and others are diverted back to India or redirected from enclosed air spaces.

Spicejet said that as a result of the closure of the airspace in Dubai, all departures/arrivals and their subsequent flights could be affected.
“Passengers are asked to check their flight status through or contact our numbers at +91 (0) 124 4983410 or +91 (0) 124 7101600 for any help,” Spicejet said.
Etihad Airways based in Abu Dhabi said that in response to the airspace restriction in the Middle East parts, it will redirect several flights on June 23 and June 24th.

Meanwhile, Akasa Air said that due to the prevailing situation in the Middle East, their flight operations can be influenced by the AZ region.
“We understand that it can affect your travel plans and sincerely regret the inconvenience,” Akasa Air said.
Qatar Airways also announced the suspension of all its flights after the closure of the air traffic movement in the state of Qatar.

Egyptair announced the abolition of all flights from Cairo to Gulf countries to Gulf countries “until the situation in the region stabilized” after Iran launched missiles on Airbase Al Udeid US Airbase in Qatar.
