On Tuesday (April 1, 2025), on Tuesday (April 1, 2025), all secular political parties, including the Allies of BJP, and members of Parliament, were referred to not vote under any circumstances in any circumstances.
Its attraction came the day before Lok Sabha captivates the WAQF (Amendment) Act for discussion and passage. Rajya Sabha is expected to accept it on Thursday (April 3, 2025), and both houses assigned eight hours to debate with the proposed law.
President Aimmlimal Personal Law Board (Aimplb) Maulan Khalid Saifullah Rahmani referred to all secular parties and parliament members to not only strongly oppose the bill in parliament, but also voted against it to “prevent the BJP municipal agenda”.
The bill is not only based on discrimination and injustice, but also directly contradicts the provisions of fundamental rights pursuant to Articles 14, 25 and 26 of the Constitution, he said in a statement.
The aim of the BJP is to weaken the laws of WAQF through the law and prepare the way for seizures and destruction of WAQF properties, Rahmani said.
“Even with the existence of the law on worship of the place, the question of the search for temples in each mosque is constantly growing. If this amendment is approved, illegitimate government and non -governmental demands on WAQF real estate will increase, which will facilitate collectors and district municipalities,” he said.
The President Aimplb also stated in his dismissal that these changes would lead to the abolition of the WAQF user, eliminating exceptions to the law restrictions, including non-Muslim members in the WAQF Council and the WAQF Council, and to reduce WAQF powers with tribunals-to reduce their legislation.
“Moreover, the inclusion of government entities (central and state governments, municipal corporations and semi -autonomous bodies) in this act, along the provisions on government claims, that collectors or district judges instead of the WAQF court,” he said.
It should also be noted that these protections are provided to religious foundations of other communities, and therefore it is exclusively focused on Muslim WAQF real estate by the act of discrimination and injustice, Mr. Rahmani said.
“I expect you and your party to stand strongly against the WAQF Act (amendment), 2024, when it will be submitted tomorrow (Wednesday) in parliament and will not disappoint Lakh Muslim citizens across the country who believe in you and represent.
