The organization of democratic students of All India (AidSO) criticized the reported transition of the state government to penalize teachers and detain grants to help institutions based on the results of SSLC exams.
In his statement, AIDSO stated that a government reported order proposes “reducing salary increments for teachers in the government and helping schools if the percentage of the passage falls below 60%”. In addition, supported institutions could lose financial grants if their total passage level falls below 50%.
Aidso, who described this step “irresponsible”, accused the government of moving guilt for rejecting the academic performance of teachers and ignoring his own “failure” in the education sector.
He accused government policy to a large extent responsible for a decline in learning results. One of them was “no policy of detention”.
He pointed to a critical lack of pedagogical staff and noted that more than 73,000 contributions remain in the government and help schools throughout the state. Many auxiliary institutions are already fighting for insufficient financing and lack of support, AIDSO said in a statement.
“This repressive order is to cover the government’s negligence in dealing with system questions such as early recruitment, restoring the system system and increased allocation of education for education,” AidSO said.
AIDSO called the reported directive “undemocratic” and “regressive” and demanded its immediate withdrawal. The organization urged the government to engage in teachers, students and experts in education to implement policies aimed at improving the quality of education.
