Markram said the test was his favorite format and hoped that young crickets were striving for a test cap in the rainbow nation.
“It has always been my favorite and most important format. Naturally, the choice of format is not in our hands, it is a kind of cards you are doing, really. It is really important, in my opinion, to keep the test cricket as the first format in South Africa.
The right -hander was under the pump when he came to the bat in the second exchange of the match. South Africa seemed to be down and out of the competition after letting Australia set the goal of 282 runs, which is the amount of runs that have not been persecuted on the Lord in the last 20 years.
Defiant Markram said the answers were hopefully provided from the end of the team that has recently knocked on the door of more ICC finals.
“All questions that have been asked in the past have now been answered. In my opinion, the WTC final will be the hardest, because many days of good cricket can only achieve results,” Markram said.
Markram asked about the feeling of leaving back to the pavilion after he got South Africa within reach of a historical victory, and said he wanted him to soak more.
“I wish I could (stand there and soak in a permanent ovation). But that when I got out, I was so angry on myself. But there is definitely one or two memories,” he concluded.
