AIADMK prevented its role in Keeladi excavations when it was in power. He also accused the decision of the DMK of “dedication only in politics” in this matter.
On Wednesday, the main opposition party, which has long been criticized for being silent on this issue, required recognition for the kissing of Keeladi during April 2018. The next day, the Minister of MK Stalin attacked AIADMK for “maintaining silence”.
On Friday, the party was built by the Secretary’s propaganda representative K. Pandiarajan, who was the Minister of Tamil’s language and culture and archeology in 2017-21 to explain to the media by the AIADMK government record in general and especially Keeladi.
The former Minister pointed out that the average annual allocation for the State Ministry of Archeology Tamil Nadu (TNSDA) was only hardly Crore 2. When he touched archaeological works in Adichanalluria in the district of thoothuku, he said it was the main Minister of Edapppads K. Palaniswami, who forced the Union’s government to sanction the museum on the spot (which is built for the price of 17 crore).
Liture Disputes before the Madurai bench
Paniarajan, who watched the origin of the controversy Keeradi, remembered that the archaeological survey of India (probably) decided to continue the project at one stage. Jayalithaa was then the main minister and decided that the state government would enter if the center came out. The AIADMK government therefore asked for approval to the central government, although the litigation waited in front of the Madura’s Madrai bench in Madras. Later, the Central Advisory Board of Archeology (CABA) allowed TNSDA to carry out excavations that were made in the stages. The reports were submitted to the Union Government. At Chennai, Mr. Palaniswami published the first report at the 2019 book Fair in Chennai.
When he was working in Keeladi, he was limited to several acres of land. But when TNSDA entered, about 100 hectares were obtained. The report on beta analytical testing, Miami, Florida, the USA, a report on dating for Keeladi findings, said the former minister and added that the proposal for the Keeladi site was approved when Mr. Palaniswami was the main minister.
“Culture of Glue Posters”
However, Mr. Pandiarajan acknowledged that TNSDA was created in the late 1960s when he was in power in DMK power and said that out of a total of 39 excavations was 33 when AIADMK was in power. However, the DMK government wanted to “gain recognition for all the work” carried out by the Government Aiadmk. “This is the height of the culture of glued posters (about what the previous government has achieved),” said Mr. Pandiarajan, wondering how much the ruling DMK was assigned to Keeladi excavations and whether those who agitated on this issue were read by AIADMK.
For an official, Amarnath Ramakrishn explained points on Keeladi, and there was no room for politics, said Mr. Pandiajan, adding that it probably did not doubt the ancient Keeladi civilization, but raised some questions based on the government government.
“Obvious lie”
DMK MLA N. Ezhilan, who spoke to reporters in Anna Arivalayam, said that the AIADMK government led by Edapppadi Palaniswami launched KEELADI excavations based only on the verdict of the Supreme Court. He said that the AIADMK Government allocated funds for only two excavations: 5 Lakh for Pattaraiperumpudur in Truvallur and 55 Lakh for Keeladi. He described the claim of AIADMK to assign 105 crore as “obvious lie”.
