SP Velumani, AIADMK MLA of the Thondamuthur election district in Coimbatore and former Minister, received an anonymous letter that threatens to kill his family members and warned against the bomb explosion in Coimbatore against July 20, 2025.
A letter signed with the note “Allahu Akbar Pakistan Zindabad” said three of his family members would be killed if the amount of 1 ₹ 1 was not located at a specific location in Coimbatore 25 May.
Attorney and official AIADMK K. Damodaran on Thursday (May 22) asked police commissioner Coimbatore and asked for investigations and demanded the protection of the family Mr. Velumani.
The petition said that an anonymous letter bears stamps from the Kalapatti post on 15 May and post Kuniyamuthur of 16 May. According to the complaint, Mr. Velumani was outside the city for 10 days and discovered a letter on Thursday at noon.
The letter began with a threat: “Coimbatore will witness an explosion of a bomb before 30.
The sender of the letter claimed that he had evidence of holding black money leader AIADMK. He ordered the letter to Mr. Velumani or his drivers to place the CRP 1 bag on the camping location on the Kalapatti-Vellanapatti road in Coimbatore between 14:30 and 14:30. May 25. A bag that should not contain GPS followers would be collected by a sender that states a letter.
The letter stated that if these instructions were observed, there would be no harm to the former minister or his family, but that they would be killed if he turned to the police or tried to trace the sender.
