AIADMK on Wednesday demanded a loan for the KEELADI excavation during April 2018.
In his statement, the former Minister of Income and Secretary of Purratchi Thalaivi Peravi, RB Udhayakumar, recalled that it was when Edapppads K. Palaniswami was the main minister that the excavations were sanctioned 55 ₹ Lakh. The work brought 5,820 antiques. Subsequently, the Crore 12.21 GBP was divided into world -class museum.
Udhayakumar, who addressed members of the ruling DMK, said, “If you have any doubts, find out a de facto position from the main secretary (finance) T. Ubhayacandran, who then oversee the excavations.” The former Minister responded to the observation of DMK members in a question in which, according to Mr. Udhayakumar, the ruling party tried to suppress the truth.
In the question of seeking clarification of the work Keeladi, the former minister said that the Union’s government was looking for more information by ensuring a “further confirmation”. He added that “If the message Keeladi is rejected, AIADMK will be the first party to express his vote of the protest.”
