Secretary General AIADMK Edapadi K. Palaniswami said on Saturday that the main Minister of MK Stalin is “frustrated” after AIADMK alliance with BJP to attack the elections of the State Assembly 2026.
He stated that at a meeting held a party in Chennai condemning the ruling DMK, he said that the main minister challenged AIADMK decision to connect with BJP. “This is our party. We create a strong alliance with similarly -minded parties to strengthen our position against the ruling DMK. Mr. Stalin had the impression that Aiadmk would not be in line with BJP.
“DMK has no principles or ideology. He is only looking for power. In 1999 he teamed up with BJP and enjoyed power on Wednesday. After five years, however, he retreated from the Alliance led by BJP and in 2004 he joined with Congress in 2004,” Mr. Palaniswami said.
“It has been four years since DMK took power in the state. At these four years, the ruling DMK could not supply any significant schemes for the inhabitants of Tamil Nadu. What initiatives were introduced for the poor and marginalized sections?
“The situation of the law and order in the state deteriorates daily under the DMK government. The incidents of murder have become common in the state … After admission to power, the DMK increased tariff, property tax and registration fee, which increases the burden of Tamil Nadu.
