On Friday (June 13, 2025), the left side expressed its condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the Air India’s Air India crash in Ahmedabad, and said the government must initiate a thorough investigation into the tragic incident.
“The number of the Office for the Communist Party of India (Marxista) is deeply saddened by the Air India from Ahmedabad’s tragic accident, which resulted in 265 people in death,” CPI (M) said in a statement and expressed confusion “families of all passengers, crew members, medical students and doctors”.
The left side also demanded a thorough investigation of the accident. “The Indian government must initiate a thorough investigation of the accident and ensure that the appropriate security measures are taken in the future to prevent these tragedies,” CPI (M) said.
The Indian Communist Party (CPI) also expressed grief over the accident and stressed that victims on Earth must not be forgotten. “Their families deserve the same care and support,” CPI said in a statement.
This catastrophic incident, CPI, said, emphasized the urgent need to strengthen the regulations for air safety and introduce strict supervision of air operations. “To establish responsibility and ensure that such tragedies do not get, a thorough, independent and transparent investigation must be carried out,” the party said.
