Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation Limited (AGICL) has invited bids for the construction of two landmark office towers as part of the proposed Quantum Valley Tech Park in Andhra Pradesh’s capital Amaravati with an estimated contract value of ₹958 crore.

After the iconic General Administrative Department (GAD) and Secretariat towers, these twin towers are the next tallest structures among the civil structures in the capital under construction.

As per Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of building a world-class capital city, the authorities designed these iconic structures.

The proposed Twin Office Towers (T1 and T2) under the Amaravati Quantum Valley project will be built on a 10-acre plot along Seed Access Road in Amaravati.

Though it was mentioned as 4.83 acres in the tender document, AIGCL technicians told The Hindu that it was wrongly entered in the document and may be corrected as 10 acres.

The site was allotted through GO Ms. No. 226 dated 12 November 2025. The towers will be adjacent to the proposed Amaravati Quantum Computing Center (AQCC) within the 50-acre Quantum Valley campus in Rayapudi village. The Phase I development includes twin towers and a quantum research facility, with the towers planned to rise to 206.2 meters (Basements+Ground+47 Floors).

According to the tender document currently (June 25) available on AP’s e-procurement platform, the project involves the construction of Shell and Core works for the Twin Office Towers (T1 and T2) to be built on either side of the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre.

The towers will include raft or pile foundations, reinforced concrete cores (RCC), post-tensioned and conventional beams and slabs, waterproofing systems and expansion joints. Buildings must also meet EDGE Advanced certification standards for green buildings.

The project will be carried out under Summa’s one-off Design and Build contract system and is scheduled to be completed in 24 months, followed by a 36-month defects liability period.

AGICL said that only Special Class Civilian Contractors registered with Andhra Pradesh Government can participate in the tender process.

In addition to engineering and construction requirements, the project contains detailed provisions for compliance with environmental and social conditions. Suppliers will be required to submit environmental and social management plans, safety protocols, quality assurance measures, logistics plans and implementation schedules as part of their technical proposals.

Quantum Valley Tech Park is envisioned as a major technology and innovation hub in Andhra Pradesh, with the proposed twin towers expected to provide high-quality office infrastructure for companies and institutions associated with quantum computing, advanced technology, research and innovation-based industries. The project forms a key part of the state’s efforts to develop Amaravati as a knowledge and technology capital.
