
A special excise tax group on Thursday arrested employees of the General Accounting office for alleged cannabis plant growing in his rented house in Kamaleswing. The accused was identified as Jathin (27), a native of Rajasthan. According to Apshahajahan, a circular inspector who led the air raid, five cannabis plants were obtained from the terrace. A lot of seeds and tools used for cultivation was also confiscated. The accused remained on the spot for the last 10 months. Although with two other employees of the AG office, the team of excise taxes did not receive any evidence to associate them with the growing of cannabis plants. The excise tax team launched air raids after secret information passed by the source.
