
After the Royal Challengers Bengalur’s lead to their first IPL title, coach Andy Flower visited Rishikesh to meet the spiritual Guru Swami Chidanand Saraswati in Pararanth Niketan Ashram. The meeting between the coach of RCB and the spiritual guru took place on Saturday, June 21, on the Day of International Yoga.
Flower’s tactical fitness was on the full show during the IPL because RCB won all its games On the way to breaking their Jinx and defeating PBK in the finals to win the title. Flower said as toi quoted that he was talking to swami about teams and how it is a tendency to always win trophies.
Coach RCB said that his experience of player and tactic is not enough. He feels that there must be something more meaningful than just win, because it can sometimes be a little cavity.
“Actually, I talked to Swami about teams. And the tendency for us as a sports organization is to catch the trophy you want to win. And everything is about victory.”
“But with my experience with playing and coaching, victory is not enough.

Flower on International Yoga Day
Flower also talked about the International Yoga Day and said he had been learning a lot about yoga in the last two weeks since he was in Rishikesh. RCB coach said he had enjoyed practicing yoga in the last few weeks.
“It was great to be in Rishikesh on International Yoga Day. I’ve been to Rishikesh for the last two weeks. I learned a lot about yoga and the main thing I learned is that yoga isn’t about an hourly class, but it’s a way of life for hundreds of millions of people.
