Rajasthan Royals embarked on a significant restructuring after the unexpected departure of Rahul David as the head coach after the ninth place of last season in the IPL. The aim of this main overwork is to revitalize the team and has recorded several changes in coaching and supporting staff.
Kumar Sangakara is expected to enter the role of head coachreplacing the birds of prey. Both Sairaj Bahutule, Spin-Bowling coach and Fielding Coach Mishant Yagnik are not part of the Cricbuzz report. Yagnik, who was a long -time member of Royals as a player and coach, recently indicated his east through a cryptic post.
Bahutule joined Royals to the second Stin last seasonAfter being part of the settings in 2018. He also worked as a mentor of the Indian Senior team also in 2024.
There are speculation that Trevor Penney may return to the coaching group. It is assumed that Vikram Rathhour, a former India coach, is working closely with Sangakkara and is expected to stay with the franchise. Meanwhile, Shane Bond will continue as a bowling coach.
The team also reorganizes its conditional staff, with reports indicating that Varun Ghosh’s departure. The aim of this strategic overlap is to build a new support structure around Sangakkar, which can bring their team of coaches.
