After the Indian dough Pratika Rawal was hit by ICC sanction, she said her contact with the shoulder with English players with Lauren Filer and Sophie Ecclestone was unintentional. Rawal was sanctioned by ICC and fined a match with 10 percent and one point of Demerit for her quarrel with filler and Ecclestone in the 18th and 19th and 19th.
England was also fined five percent of its fees for a slow excessive level in the first ODI, which India eventually won. Both Rawal and Nat Sciver-Brunt decided to challenge this decision and accept sanctions. When Rawal talked to the media before the other Odi, he said he was running, and the shoulder boat was not intentional in any sense. Indian dough also said that there is no need to make a stir from the situation.
“It wasn’t deliberate. I just ran in my way, and the thing of the shoulder boat was completely out of … In this sense it wasn’t intentional,” Rawal said, as PTI quoted.
“I don’t think there is (must have a) reaction or maybe (of it (make) a stir. It wasn’t deliberate.”
“You take it for one game at once”
After winning the T20i series 3-2 series, India has a chance to complete the double England with one victory in the remaining two matches of the series. Rawal said the team was taking things after one game at once, although he admitted that the victory of the 3-0 series would be great.
“We take only one game at the same time. At the moment, our main focus is to win this series. To win another match, we are already in the series. Our main focus is to win this series with 3-0, it will be great,” Rawal said.
“What I feel, keep one thing at the same time, it helps with better focus and better concentration, so we are on this note.”
England and India will face ODI second women on Saturday 19 July at Lord’s.
