A Class 12 student from Ranchi grabbed attention after achieving a rare academic milestone following the CBSE revaluation process. Avni Kejriwal, a commerce student at DPS Sail Township, scored a perfect 500 out of 500 marks in her five core subjects after her answer sheets were checked.
The revised result placed her among a select group of students who scored full marks in all major subjects in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 examinations.
Full marks in five main subjects
According to the updated scorecard, Avni scored 100 marks each in English Core, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and Applied Mathematics. She also scored 99 for Graphics, which she took as an additional subject.
Her success came after she decided to re-evaluate her answer sheets, a decision she says was driven by confidence in her preparation and performance during the exams.
Confidence in the preparation led to a reassessment
Avni said that she had full confidence in her preparation and performance in the exams and therefore decided to request a revaluation. The updated marks vindicated her belief and helped her achieve a perfect score in class 12.

Family credits Consistent hard work
Her parents attributed this success to years of dedication and discipline. They said that Avni was sincere about her studies from the beginning and achieved the milestone through consistent hard work.
Her father Mitesh Kejriwal is a businessman while her mother Poonam Kejriwal is a housewife.
Sharing her happiness, Avni credited her parents, teachers and her mentor Sachit Sir for her success. She said their support and guidance played an important role in her journey.

After completing her class 12th exams with a perfect score, Avni is now looking ahead to her higher education plans. She aims to pursue a career in business management and has already taken the CUET UG 2026 exam.
