Congress Secretary of Congress called Abhishek Banerjee from the annual celebration of Shahid Dibas (martyr’s day) on July 21 and said it would force the side of Bharatiya to sing “Joy Bangl” after the elections of West Bengal.
Banerjee, who spoke to a massive crowd in the heart of Kolkaty, at the second headquarters, said BJP would not exceed 50 seats in the upcoming elections.
The TMC leader, who has set the election strategy and a narrative party for the upcoming elections, said that if BJP is trying to put Bengal people in detainment camps, they will go a step further and democratically put the BJP into a detention camp by losing their elections.
“BJP previously called Jay Shri Ram earlier, but now Joy Maa Kali, Joy Maa Durg. Mark my words today – in just 10 months I will force them to say the joy of Bangl after 2026 elections,” Mr. Banerjee said.
He also added that in the elections in 2021 they said “Khela Hobe” (playing), but for 2026 elections they say “underground Phoool refre fel hobe” (ripping the lotus flower – referring to the symbol of BJP).
Mr. Banerjee emphasizes the inclusive ideology of his party and said, “We do not do politics of religion or hatred. We maintain our religion at home, but in politics we have only one religion – in the spirit to serve people.” He accused that Main Minister Assam BJP Himanta Bisw Sarma described Bengal -speaking people as Bangladeshi, but the BJP government took no steps against his “discriminatory comments”.
“Joy Bangl sings so loud that the echoes of the slogans go back to Delhi,” Baerjee said as supporters on martyrdom.
Mr. Banerjee also accused that the Union’s government is using the state machinery under its powers to deprive the voters and opposition of their fundamental rights. “On the one hand, the BJP uses ED to suppress opposition leaders and use EC to pull out the voting rights of the people. There are two ES – Election Commission and Directorate for enforcement. These two aces use for bars and eliminate voters and normal voters,” Baerjee said.
