AR AFFAN, accused of murdering five people, including his family members, remains in a critical condition in Thiruvananthapuram Hospital Government Medical College Hospital, where he has been treating the Central Prison of Poojappura on Sunday.
According to official sources, it continues to support the fan and its future treatment will be determined after assessing its condition in 48 hours. In addition, doctors expect a longer recovery period, due to considerable injuries suffered during his suicide attempt.
Meanwhile, the prison and the remedial services of Kerala are likely to take disciplinary measures against prison officials who have found themselves negligently while monitoring the accused and preventing suicide.
