
The Karnataka State Allied and Health Council (KSAHC) has directed that admissions to Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy programs will be through the National Eligibility Test (NEET) from the academic year 2026-27.
Based on the directives of the Union Ministry of Health and Welfare and the National Commission for Allied Health Professions (NCAHP), KSAHC has issued instructions to all public, private state and deemed universities to admit students based on NEET level.
“Category-wise degree nomenclature and admission criteria for Allied and Healthcare programs have been notified and communicated to the University Grants Commission (UGC) for admission with effect from the academic year 2026-27,” the circular said.
