Adityanath says government jobs for one million youth in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday 19 September 2026 launched one million new jobs under ‘Mission Rojgar’. He handed over appointment letters to 818 newly selected applicants. Addressing Samajwadi Party leaders who are raising questions about the government, CM Yogi said, “Keep counting; we are appointing more than one million youth in six months. Today we are giving appointment letters for three wards. We will also be giving appointment letters to around a thousand youth on Sunday. This process will continue without interruption. We are appointing 36,000 police officers, 2,000 youth in Home 40001. Their medical and physical processes are going on. Commission for the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board (UPSSSC) will release the results in the next six months and will provide an opportunity to 20,000 to 25,000 youths who will be 15,0000 to 25,000 youths after four months the youths will get appointments in various departments.”

At a program at the Lok Bhawan Auditorium, CM Yogi distributed appointment letters to 818 youth selected for various departments. A short film about the Rojgar mission was also shown. Congratulating UPPSC and UPSSSC officials, the CM said, “When commissions and boards do not fall prey to government policies and the examination process is completed with integrity, the results also reflect the same.

The Chief Minister said, “So far 9.5 million youths have been given appointments. We will distribute appointment letters to one million youths within six months. Let those who created chaos before 2017 continue to count; we will continue to distribute appointment letters.”

Mr. Adityanath said, “In 2017, the youth also took a major decision to change the government. Our government expanded the Mission Rojgar program in line with PM Modi’s vision. The previous government could not respect the strength, power and talent of the youth; we saw the strength of UP as an economic opportunity. They locked the opportunities within UP; we tried to unlock this potential in the youth through talent.”

The Chief Minister remarked, “When the talented youth becomes the strength of UP, the state will emerge as the number one economy. In every field, it will assert its place as the new UP of New India. UP is the heart of the country, the most fertile land, the state with the most abundant water resources and the state that is moving forward with traditional enterprises. Once the state with the highest per capita income has not gone through any political identity crisis during this period among the youth, it has not gone through a single phase of political identity. in safety.

Mr. Adityanath said, “Zero tolerance was introduced in all areas after the formation of the government. Now no person in UP faces identity crisis. People from other states are also amazed to see the achievements of UP. The SP government has seen challenges as problems. It has continued dishonesty and corruption through family syndicates. Before 2017, UP was seen as the solution and we have transformed it into the poorest states. Per capita income, economy, women workforce and budget of UP is a revenue surplus state for six years now, it is an important part of India’s growth and is among the top 3 economies and is now known for infrastructure, economic growth, ODOP, MSME sector and other sectors that previously employed more people 2017.”

The Chief Minister stated, “The biggest misfortune of any society is when an artisan/craftsman has to wander from door to door looking for work as a labourer. It means that the governments of the day did not respect his skills. We gave him respect, market, technology and a platform and he stood up again. UP exports products worth crores. The money goes on. When artisans and craftsmen move forward fast.”

The CM said, “Before 2017, farmers were committing suicide. Projects remained pending for decades. There were no seeds, fertilizers, technology or markets. The previous government created middlemen to consume farmers’ share. They created land, sand, cattle, copycat and land mafias who destroyed the energy of the youth. Today, UP has freed itself from all these festivities and created a new state.”

The Chief Minister informed, “The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Fair (UPITS) will be held at Gautam Buddha Nagar from September 25 to 29. UP products will be purchased by six hundred and fifty foreign buyers. More than 2,500 exhibitors will participate. Products made by UP youth, artisans, craftsmen and entrepreneurs will be exhibited on large orders.”

The CM said, “Before 2017, UP had the largest population of young people, but there was a lack of a startup ecosystem. There were barely 120 startups then; today there are more than 24,000 startups in UP. Half of these startups are run by half the population, through which the premier firms worth thousands of crores of B Govt. P Doubleine Digital India and B Govt have done the Rojgar mission honorably. PM Modi too distributes appointment letters to 51,000 young people.

The CM said, “Before 2014, Ayush had no identity, but PM Modi made it a new ministry and recognized traditional medicine. Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Unani and others got a platform. A center on the lines of AIIMS is being run in Delhi. Before 2014, no one thought of degrees, home pharmacies and diplomas in AYHuropathy but that is no longer the case. PM gave platform to AYUSH We worked in universities AYUSH, in medical faculties and other system in group 3 and 4 recruitment.”

AYUSH Minister Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’, Minister of State for Medical Education and Family Welfare Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Minister of State for MSME Hansraj Vishwakarma and others were present on the occasion.
