Actress Ansiba Hassan has approached the First Class Judicial Court in Ernakulam seeking directions to register a First Information Report (FIR) on a complaint she filed against co-star Lakshmipriya and two online media representatives, accusing them of posting videos on various social media platforms with the intention of damaging her image and subjecting her to public humiliation.

She lodged a complaint against Ms. Lakshmipriya and two others with the Station House Officer, Palarivattom Police Station. Ms Hassan went to court and claimed that the police did not take effective action on her complaint. The court asked the police to file an explanation on July 9, 2026.

In her lawsuit, she claimed that the videos contained false and sexually charged allegations intended to outrage her modesty and subject her to harassment and public humiliation. No effective measures were taken, which led to further dissemination of the offending content and affected her dignity and reputation.

On July 1, 2026, the Kadavanthra police registered a case against actor Tiny Tom for allegedly making defamatory and general remarks against Ms. Hassan. It was booked a day after the Ernakulam District and Sessions Court ordered the registration of an FIR based on Ms Hassan’s complaint.
