DGP Ramchandra Rao sent on a mandatory holiday
The Government of Karnataka sent a DGP-RAK officer to Ramacandra Rao, the stepfather of Ranya, for a compulsory holiday from 15 March.
Rao, an IPS officer, worked as chairman and CEO of Karnataka State Police Housing and Infrastructure Corporation.
Recently, a higher IPS officer was questioned with the case of gold smuggling. His statement was subsequently recorded by the investigation team.
