The state government has prepared an action plan to solve the drinking water crisis in the district of Annamaya, said Transport, Affairs and Sport for Youth, Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy. The Minister, who addressed a press conference on Monday, said the government was looking at the development and well -being of its “two eyes”.
Mr. Reddy said that the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and Development Funds for the Development of Rural Infrastructure (RIDF) were released CRORE 6.25 GBP for the construction of rural roads in the district of Annamayya and selection procedures have already been required for six roads across four mandates in Rayachoti Constituration.
Referring to the vision of the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida for fair development, Mr. Reddy said that in the village of Sibalala under the Rayachoti rural mandala, 700 acres were identified to create a special economic zone (sez) where an industrial park would appear. “The initiative will create excellent job opportunities for local youth in the district of Annamaya,” he said.
The Minister responded to public appeal and official reports on the lack of drinking water in the district of Annamayya and stated that officials seriously reviewed the situation, while water tankers were deployed in all villages vulnerable to crisis. “The new wells were dug in several villages throughout the district, except for the repair of several extinct boredom.
The Minister said that the Crore 320 GBP was sanctioned for completing the waiting work within the Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HLSS) project to supply the water to the Srinivasapuram tank. “This will maintain 25,000 Ayacut acres in the district, except for recharge of groundwater table,” Mr. Reddy said.
