Another main secretary of the urban development department and administrator Bruhhat Bengalur Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), Tushar Giri Nath, ordered civil servants to prepare the timeline to restore roads dug up with water and sewerage.
On Tuesday at a meeting with multiple parties in Vikas, Mr. Giri Nathnal noted that several sections were dug for laying drinking water and sewerage pipes, but was not restored. He said that about 7.3 km of roads remains affected and ordered officials to identify these sections immediately and start renewal.
He stressed that the filling of potholes must be accelerated, especially on arterial and subarterial roads. The traffic police were asked to check the repaired sections to ensure quality.
Mr. Giri Nath, who increased security concerns, ordered Bangalore Electricity Supply Company limited to relocate transformers located on sidewalks and road areas. The tool was asked to prepare a detailed list and start a quick action.
