Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 18 AI have been unveiled by Taiwanese manufacturers. The gaming laptop comes with the latest Intel Core Ultra 200HX series processor and Nvidia Geforce RTX 50 series GPU. The laptop offers 16-inch and 18-inch display options, refresh rates up to 250Hz, and peak brightness levels up to 500 columns. To cool down, they come with the fifth generation Aeroblade 3D fans. The Predator Helios Neo 16 and Neo 18 AI laptops can reach up to 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.

Acer Predator Helios NEO 16 AI prices start at $1,899.99 (approximately Rs 1,66,400) or € 1,699 (approximately Rs 1,54,300). It will be available in North America in April and in May EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
On the other hand, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI starts at $2,199.99 (about Rs 1,92,700) or €1,799 (about Rs 1,63,400). Starting in EMEA in May and June, it will be purchased in the North American market.
The company notes that the exact specifications, prices and availability of laptops will vary by region. India’s launch of any new model has not been confirmed.
Acer Predator Helios NEO 16 AI, Helios NEO 18 AI features, specifications
Acer Predator Helios NEO 16 AI can be configured with OLED or IPS panels with WQXGA (2560×1600) resolution, up to 240Hz refresh rates, up to 500 peak brightness levels, and NVIDIA’s Advanced Optimus technology. Meanwhile, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI has an 18-inch Mini LED WQXGA (2560×1600) screen with a 250Hz refresh rate or a 18-inch LED WQXGA display with a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and a peak brightness level of 500nm.
Both the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and the Helios Neo 18 AI can be used with the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and Core Ultra 7 255HX CPU options. Users can choose between NVIDIA’s GEFORCE RTX 5070 TI or RTX 5070 GPU. They run on Windows 11 Home and support up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIE Gen 4 SSD storage.
Acer confirmed that the Predator Helios NEO 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI are equipped with the fifth generation Aeroblade 3D fans, liquid metal hot grease and vector heat pipes for improved cooling. They also support Copilot and Experience 2.0 Region 2.0 features such as Acer PurifiedView 2.0, PurifiedVoice 2.0, and Procam, as well as the Predatorsense 5.0 Utility App. The laptop also offers a free 3-month PC Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 18 AI each carry 90Wh battery. They have DTS X: super supported dual speakers and full HD IR webcam. Connection options include Wi-Fi 6e, Intel’s Killer Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.3 or higher. The laptop comes with Thunderbolt 4 type-C, USB 3.2 Gen Model 2 C, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 type-A and HDMI 2.1 ports, and a microSD reader and A 3.5mm combined audio Jack.
The Acer Predator Helios NEO 16 AI measures 356.78 x 275.5 x 26.75mm, while the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI measures 400.96 x 307.9 x 28mm. They weigh 2.7 kg and 3.3 kg, respectively.
