Ernakulam rural police arrested a 34 -year -old Gujarat man in connection with the alleged online cheating case.

Reportedly cheated a person of 7.80 ₹ Lakh using a fake business application. He allegedly lured the victim through social media by promising huge profits through investment in online trading. The victim allegedly imposed money on various bank accounts from February 17th to March 7th. Later, when he demanded his revenues, as stated in the application’s wallet, the accused allegedly demanded a commission.
The victim then filed a complaint against the police. The head of the district police (Ernakulam Rural) Vibhav Saxen created a special group that would break the case. The team watched the accused to Surrat.
