MM Sasendran, accused in the case of a sexual assault on the ICU, was rejected on Friday (August 8) from a service at the Government Faculty of Medicine in Kozhikode, after the internal investigation confirmed the mistake of his part.
After the incident that occurred on March 18, 2023, in which he allegedly sexually attacked the patient, while after surgery at the ICU hospital under anesthesia, Mr. Sasendran was suspended from the service. However, he continued the service report, which led to the outrage of the public.
Mr. Sasendran was arrested in April 2023. In addition, five of his collaborators were also accused if he allegedly tried to convince the survivors to change his statement and later threaten it.
The director of the Faculty of Medicine signed an order for release on the recommendation of the administrative wing of the hospital.
