Rumors are that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be launched on January 22, 2025, and it is reportedly likely to offer a free Gemini Advanced subscription to make the device more profitable. According to the report, Google may work with South Korean tech giants to bundle different trial subscriptions for its artificial intelligence products (AI) products. The trial subscription is said to range from three months to one year. Additionally, the company expects the company to offer the series’ Galaxy AI kit for free.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Free Gemini Premium Subscription
According to a report from Android Authority, Google may offer advanced AI capabilities to those who purchase the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series devices. Evidence of this bundled offer was discovered during the disassembly of the Android Application Package (APK) in Google App Beta version 15.52.37. Several regulations reportedly suggest a requested offer.
The code’s strings reportedly mention Google One and Samsung and use the word “Upsell”. This suggests that the claimed offer is part of a sales sale campaign, with Mountain View-based tech giants believing that exposing more users to Gemini Advanced could lead them to purchase subscriptions after the trial is completed.
Other strings reportedly also mentioned “your device allows you to access {xxx} – monthly subscription to Gemini Advanced without access to our most capable AI model,” where “XXX” was replaced by “XXX” by three months ”, the duration of six months, nine months and one year is different.
Apart from that, the publication shares a separate code string that directly mentions “Samsung_s25”, highlighting the upcoming smartphone series. It is speculated that different models in the series may come with free Gemini Premium subscriptions for different durations. The standard model may get three to six months, while the plus and super variants get a nine-month and one-year free subscription, respectively.
However, it should be noted that neither Google nor Samsung officially announced this offer, and only mentioned in the app code is to confirm that users will definitely get a free subscription to Gemini Advanced for free. Once the Galaxy S25 phone is launched next month, we should know more.
