Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parisad (ABVP) was consistently in addressing students’ questions, said the National Secretary of the Organization Shravan. He spoke at the assembly organized from PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Sciences in Mogalarama here on Friday to mark the 77th day of the ABVP Foundation.
Mr Shravan remembered the establishment of the organization on June 9, 1949, with only five members, that ABVP has grown to the largest student organization in the world with more than six million. He said that ABVP played a key role in bringing patriotism between students and the developing idea of the “nation first”.
State Secretary of Parishada Y. Venkata Gopi said the organization was determined to educate the values of knowledge, character and unity among students.
The event was also attended by state leaders ABVP Suman, Durga Rao, Subramanyam and others.
