The Syndicate of the University of Calicut decided to appoint theater director Abhilash Pillai as the headmaster of the school of drama and fine art, Thrissur.
The decision was adopted at a meeting held at the University area in Tendalam, Malappuram on Tuesday. V. Vijayakumar would be appointed coordinator of the National Services system on the basis of the base. The Biju would be appointed professor, department of political science, on similar lines.
A subcommittee was created to identify teachers’ contributions to implement 4% of the reservation for different categories. The meeting was approved by the PhD for 105 people. Another subcommittee was created for studying the proposal to start the integrated bed program at the University Educational Department. T. Muhamed Sale, Kavumbayi Balakrishnan, K. Pradeep Kumar and P. Rasheed Ahammed would be his members.
Association would be awarded Majlis College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Valanchery and Safi Institute of Advanced Study (Autonomous) to start integrated Bed programs. The Deputy Director would be appointed on the basis of the base in the Center for Distance and Online Education.
The Syndicate meeting took place after a gap of about two months and almost 300 items were on its program. It was decided to organize another meeting of 17 September to accept things that cannot be attracted on Tuesday.
